This year Reggae and Dancehall DJ’s
Scroogie, Johno and Don Ignorance better known as the popular
soundsystem “Little Thunder” have again been nominated for the Pioneer
DJ Stylus awards. The brothers celebrating the sounds 20 year
Anniversary in May, have come a long way since 1992 from 45’s to CD’s,
to Sarato.
Little Thunder would like to reach out to the other sounds and DJ's with a congrats on the nomination.The sound is
up against 5 of Toronto’s hottest soundsytems/DJ’s; Whitebwoy, Fire Kid
Steenie, Blax Dun Da Place, Tasha Rozez, and last years winner "Spex Da
Boss". Little Thunder stands alone as being the only Soundsytem outside
of Toronto representing for the prominently French city of Montreal.
Expect the 20 year anniversary mixtape
with a pending release date of May, showcasing the best of Little
Thunder Throughout the years. They will be celebrating the occasion at
the prestige venue “Club Soda” in Montreal May 12th with a live performance from I-Octane.
